E-max veneers is the newest member of the Empress porcelain family, durability of which has been increased by firing glass ceramics without using metal. Therefore, it is named “E-Max”, which means “Maximum Empress”. It contains the lithium disilicate and it increases the transparency and light permeability of the material. This provides the applied veneers to have a more aesthetic and vibrant appearance, so the restoration is unnoticeable.
On your first visit, we will evaluate your bite, tooth structure, and facial features to determine whether veneers are appropriate for your case. We will then design custom eMax porcelain veneers for your teeth, giving you the option to “try your new smile” and see how the outcome will be once the veneers are fitted.At this point, you can choose to change the shade, size, or shape of your teeth to transform your smile. If your teeth are not evenly stained, we may use multiple layers of veneers for the severely stained teeth to create a uniform look.When you are happy with your new smile, the design will be sent to our in-house laboratory so your eMax veneers can be casted. In 1-2 weeks, you would return to our office for the veneers to be bonded to your teeth using dental resin cement.
